Decorating Date Night with Troy & Dina had the opportunity to revisit old friends and check in on the status of their ongoing home renovations.  Dina takes the opportunity to explain afresh what Decorating Date Night is all about.  This video is short and sweet.

This episode capped an evening spent with two longtime friends, Bruce and Terri, during Mother’s Day weekend.  Dina shares advice on flooring, cabinets, wall color, and counter tops.  If that’s not a “Happy Mother’s Day” weekend event, what is?!

During Episode 6 of Season 2, Troy and Dina went to the home of newlyweds Scott and Caitlin to select wall colors and determine the best use of space.  Then during Episode 7 of Season 2, existing furniture was relocated as the vision for the floor plan began to take shape.

Now, in Episode 8 of Season 2, IT’S TIME TO GO SHOPPING!  A number of great finds were discovered for the home, including a big beautiful dinning table with eight chairs for only $250!  As Dina likes to say, “You can’t make it for that!”

During the previous episode Troy and Dina visited a couple named Scott and Caitlin (and their dog Urban) to determine furniture placement, wall color, and light fixtures for their dining room, kitchen, and family room.  Well, once the episode was over the wine flowed, the conversation continued, and furniture was moved.  Give Dina enough time in a home and there is little doubt furniture will end up being moved!

Anyway, because a number of high-impact changes were made, it was decided to do a very quick re-cap update episode… and so here it is!  Episode 6 was one of Decorating Date Night’s longest videos (at nearly 67 minutes).  Episode 7 is one of the shortest (at less than seven minutes).

Troy and Dina visit a couple who live out in the woods!  Scott and Caitlin recently moved from a much smaller home into a house nearly twice as big, so they need lots of furniture.  But first, they want to get the walls painted, the light fixtures replaced (and relocated), and figure out how to best make use of what they already have.

This episode focuses on the dining room, kitchen, and family room.  And if you like dogs (and who doesn’t?!), then you’ll love the adorable four-month old Airedale Terrier named Urban!

Troy and Dina revisit the Burnett’s home, after they took to heart Dina’s decorating advice way back in Season 1, Episode 6.  Now it’s time for the big reveal to see how the remodeling project worked out for them.  (Everything is beautiful and even more tips are shared for additional decorating changes down the road.  Yay!)

“Decorating Date Night with Troy and Dina” presents a particularly special episode for fans of 106.9 The Eagle!  This show was shot live from the home of Shannon Lovewell (host of the weekday show that airs 10a-3p on WWEG).

Witness the beauty of less is more, as the Lovewell’s primary living space gets simplified and de-cluttered.  A tremendous transformation without spending a single cent!

Decorating Date Night strikes again!  Season two, episode three looks to redecorate a couple’s entire first floor (including the kitchen).

Color selection and counter tops are up for discussion, of course.  Also up for consideration is a design overhaul, including the addition of a double oven, relocation of the refrigerator, raising of the cabinets, expansion of the island, replacement of the sink, and yes… knocking out some walls.

You get to be a fly on the wall as a married couple thinks out loud about their options and the reasons for the changes they’d like to see.

Popcorn popped!  A bottle of red and a bottle of white opened!  And an exciting “Big Reveal” episode with John and Lynne, who are back again from Season One!

Troy and Dina took to Facebook Live to offer an initial design consultation to these homeowners last year.  (Season 1, Episode 10: “You Floor Me”.)  Now we get to see for the first time together how it all turned out.  And what a transformation it is!

Now, with the dawning of 2018 comes the dawning of Season Two.  Episode one of this year’s Decorating Date Night with Troy and Dina was broadcast live on Facebook from Elmwood Farms Bed and Breakfast in Williamsport, Maryland.

This video takes you through a fun and informative tour of a farm house that has been restored to capture its pre-Civil War charm while incorporating modern convenience and flair.
