Ending a lengthy hiatus, Decorating Date Night is back with a huge new project – a whole house make-over. The first three seasons were all award-winning (“Best of Frederick” as voted by the readers of Frederick Magazine). Will the new season be even better?

Season 3, Episode 15: “Outdoor Living”

This puts the wraps on Season three (even though there was a sneak peak at season four on social media already). This Decorating Date Night… or should we say Decorating Date Morning(?)… episode shares ideas for the backyard. Yes, outdoor living space is the focus this time!

Season One of DDN featured 16 episodes (23 videos). Season Two featured 16 episodes (24 videos). Season Three featured 15 episodes (22 videos). The plan is for Season Four to feature 17 episodes (23 videos) so that the average will be exactly 16 episodes and 23 videos per season. The episode count is probably more important than the video count, so we’ll see how it goes.

This walkthrough video invites you into the various spaces and design choices. There’s so much detail! (And the video doesn’t even mention the maintenance-free rock mulch, the custom wood headers & shutters, the fully fenced backyard, the 90 year architectural shingles, the productive fruit trees, and so very much more).

This original Ausherman home was meticulously designed and customized, with all additional square footage added in stick-built fashion. Truly, this is a one of a kind living area, put together with expertise and love.
